Our award winning solid log structures have won national acclaim. Our Dealers can capitalize on our inexhaustible design capabilities, quality and service.
We Offer 3 Ways to Make Money
- Personal Sales - This is very simple. For each personal sale, we pay $5,000.00. Only one sale per month generates $60,000.00 per year. Additional income may be derived from sales of commercial buildings or by offering construction services.
- Associate Dealer Sales - Associates pay the Dealer $1,500.00 to become an Associate. The Dealer retains $1,000.00 and $500.00 is sent to the home office. You may have as many as 10 Associates in one county. Let's look at the Big Picture. Let's assume that you have the financial strength to purchase 5 counties. Counties are $2,500.00 each so that would be an initial investment of $12,500.00. Most Dealers begin with one or two counties. When we know you and you know us, you may wish to expand your territory. It is a good business practice to expand your territory with commissions. Look at the opportunity of having multiple counties: You own 5 counties; place 10 Associates in each county; 50 Associates at $1,000.00 per Associate, that's an income of $50,000 before any homes are sold. Let's also assume that with 50 Associates, 3 sales may be made each month. Dealers receive an override of $2,500.00 per sale made by the Associate. $2,500.00 x 3 = $7,500.00 per month x 12 months = $90,000.00 per year. It's easy to see that log home sales do add up with expanded territories and a large sales organization.
- Referrals - Dealers receive $500.00 on any referral that results in the sale of a home or dealership.
Home Office Support - We provide excellent sales material. Our computer-aided drafting service makes sales easier and information by phone or fax is available at all times. We offer customer seminars and workshops at no cost to the Dealer. We cover the following topics: The Advantages of Log Homes, How to Cost, How to Finance, and How to Construct a Colonial Structures Cedar Log Home. Most of our sales come from people who have attended one of our seminars. We also assist Dealers in Home Shows by furnishing a booth, large pictures and staff, when needed. Our success depends on the success of our Dealers. We will work very hard for you if given the opportunity.

You are your own boss. You work as you please and when you want to work.
You can start with a small capital outlay. $2,500.00 for the county. We don't want or need more than one quality dealer in a county and we want you to have the freedom to build your business. We recommend that you start small and then expand your territory as your business grows with profits from your sales.
You can operate from your own home. We do not require you to build a model. Our Dealers can be very successful by following our aggressive marketing program.

You have no expensive office, showroom or warehouse. All record keeping is done by the home office.
What We Expect…
Dealer's Responsibilities
Advertise - Dealers may advertise in media that covers Dealer's territory. In many instances, the media may cover several counties. Put your name and the name of your county at the bottom of the ad. Colonial Structures provides sample ads for radio, newspaper and television.
Follow-up on leads furnished by the home office - We advertise nationally and send inquiries to our Dealers.
Conduct Home Shows - You get great exposure in Home Shows, County Fairs, State Fairs, Recreational Shows and other places where crowds gather.
Sponsor Customer Seminars and Workshops - You furnish the place (local motel, library, restaurant, etc.) and refreshments (coffee & cookies) and we do the rest. These seminars show that we know our business and have the experience, so people are comfortable doing business with you.

We don't need to know your life's history; however, a personal interview will usually reveal the characteristics we are looking for.
