Log Railings and Stairs
As part of the full range of services we offer to our customers, we produce our own log railings and stairs. We make custom hand made railings for interior staircases, front porches, and decks for new and existing log homes.
We start the selection process
in Montana where we pick the best Lodgepole Pine and other species for perfect
posts, rails and balusters. Then we bring a truckload of logs back to our shop
in Carver, Minnesota, where we mill them to exact specifications for each
project.
Our craftsmen will come to your building site to
consult with you on your ideas and designs, and then take the appropriate
measurements. Our milling facilities have been designed for the specific
purpose of producing custom made log railings and stairs. This allows us to
make the precision cuts and joinery necessary in a comfortable working
environment year round. After the sections have been assembled, we deliver and
install them at your location.
